  • Interesting topic…By the way assumed sorta like being judgmental (guessing)without evidence. Guess we all need to be cautions w/o get feelings hurt. Very true we all do lead a very busy life and clock ticking too fast. Thankful for VP and pagers. Glad y’all got together. • Really I enjoying to see ur view that learn something about assume. Nobody or no place are not perfect right,I knew everything I see. Vicki

  • Yeah – it is easier to assume than to check what is what….since the girls above mentioned your baby bump, it looks big already!

  • I was always told by my English professor in university that to use the word “assume” consisted of “making an a__ out of you and me.” (no pun intended)

In other words.. she told me to think of it as three words.. “a__”, “u”, “me” Then I’d understand what I was doing wrong. πŸ˜€

Thanks Missy for a nice chat. Hope to see more of you on the net in videos.

  • Awesome! How true that we tend to “assume”. You’re right! We ought to follow up if one didnt get an email or touch base with someone that you care. Here’s an infamous saying… A-S-S-U-M-E “makes an ass out of you and me”.

    Thanks for sharing!

  • OH wow.. intz about assume.. I was usasally saying assume.. .. thanks you for explained.. big smile.. wow I was intz with your asl.. smile..

  • wowie , i love watching on your 4 videos . i will more watch your missy ‘s view on later smile.

  • Assumptions separate, not bring together people. I always APPRECIATE a person of integrity when that person comes straight to me to ask, “what is the deal?” When a person does that, that is INTEGRITY.

  • Missy,
I really enjoyed watching ur videos a lot. “amuse” show does make sense which is very true.

  • Funny you mentioned it because nowadays, the expectations are high especially when it comes to sending text messages. You know how in the “old days,” when someone call the house and no one answer. Obviously no one is home and no pun intended is taken. Now, when you text someone and you have not heard back for five minutes, we get upset, think we are ignoring each other.

Few years ago, when I got my cell phone, I always respond immediately then one day, my Mom, sweet lady, told me that I don’t have to answer immediately. I never thought of that before and realize why do we feel guilty if we got the texts but will not respond back in the next minute. It’s a scary feeling, ha. Now, I often put the phone aside when I work or enjoy time. The “assumption” is a very popular word nowadays. This can ruin friendship of many years within seconds because of no call back or text back. Same for Facebook or MySpace. Someone I know closed Facebook because it wasn’t for him and some of his friends got mad. Why? They assumed he de-friended them. No wonder why I close Facebook LONG time ago, ha.

    Keep it up.
