It a wonderful thing to have ASLTA, and top of that, because of very high demand by VRS nationwide, is awesome to have more people participating in learning ASL. I salute ASLTA.
Definitely teaching language is not very easy. It is not natural for instructor/teacher to teach any language in a classroom. People learn language only 10 percent or less in the classroom and 90 percent from real life. Teaching science, math, social studies etc is easy to teach but to teach language; language is a challenge to teach.
