  • I never know, the couple Deaf make Gosia ‘s Pierogies in Pittsburgh, PA. I went to Pittsburgh since 1999 to visit with my mother in law and beloved husband, Andrew Griffith. I am glad that DeafNation published about this. Of course, I will pull my family to come to visit them and also try to taste their homemade food.

It inspired me to seeing more and more Deaf people grow their own businesses.

I can’t wait to tell my mother in law Carol and her husband, Tom to come to visit them in downtown Pittsburgh, PA.

    retired.

    Smile!!

  • Even though, I am not Polish but love to eat pierogies espeically sweet potato. You have my applaud for making Gosia’s Pierogies a successful business. However, there is one thing that disturb me the most is the healthy issue. They don’t wear sterile gloves or wearing clean aprons and caps when doing the pierogies at the factory. Do they pass the health inspection? I wonder… By the way, we do have one here in Roselle, New Jersey owned by deaf business doing the pierogies. If we are ever be in Pittsburgh, we shall stop by to eat your pierogies. Good luck on your great success…

  • Congratls to Jan and Terry! I am proud of both you and my cousin Marianna there I surprised wow…
Thank you to Joel show video for the world ” Deaf Nation” Good luck for future SMACZNEGO PIEROGI! 🙂

  • Yes, right , I aready know other first friend CHESTER ‘S PARENT have own pierogies Factory in Roselle and My Hubby worked them not pittsburgh .. I loved taste strawberries lot of vavties pierogies at roselle .. THAT’S WHY ..

  • This is for Diane: I don’t think there is a real health issue if the gloves are missing. You would be surprised to know that most of the gloves worn my small and medium sized foodstalls and businesses don’t add to the hygiene at all…in fact, some of them are made from harmful, unsterilized plastics that only adds to making the food more unhealthy.

  • Hello Terry, This is don. I informed Jeff Heath and Leslie Karr about this. They did surprise Jan and Terry doing fine on their business. We can order some Pierogie on online? or call you? 🙂 Don

  • Great success for deaf business for Jan and his wife Terry. So we are proud of our Polish compatriot. Dumplings already in Poland for centuries and are different dumplings, can be fruits, vegetables, mushrooms and meat. Menu also very popular in Australia, is a Polish shop sells frozen dumplings, we always buy.
Sorry for the memory of my mother and grandmother learned to me how to do, because I’ve never cooked dumplings, for me, it’s too much work, and besides I’m lazy. Wonderful machine for making dumplings. Congratulation!

Wishes all the best for the astonishing business. We love you. Elzbieta & Edward z Australii
